 Frankfort Country Club is a beautiful, 18-hole golf course open seven days a week. The golf course was established in early 1926 and features small, well-manicured greens that are accented by white sugar sand bunkers. Every shot is challenged by tall heather, towering pine and oak trees, hidden mounds and the Prairie Creek, which comes into play on 12 of the 18 holes. The course is a pure delight to play, and can be found only 20 short minutes from Lafayette and merely 45 minutes from Indianapolis. Its accessibility and pure beauty make it one of the finest facilities in Central Indiana. Frankfort Country Club is a full-service facility which caters to all types of golfers including: outings, leagues, women's groups, public play and, of course, our Membership. With two restaurants, two bars and a food and beverage operation for the public, there is no reason to hold your function anywhere else. The golf course is just the tip of the iceberg.
Frankfort Country Club is a spikeless facility. No metal spikes will be allowed on the golf course or any of the other practice areas. We are dedicated to our local environment, and as such, there are some grassy heather areas on the golf course which are designated as nature preserves. These areas are home to species of birds found only in Central Indiana, so we require that all players keep carts out of these small marked areas.
Frankfort Country Club is located in Clinton County, an area long known for it's production of agricultural products. You may have heard of the Frito Lay facility in Frankfort, the largest potato chip plant in the world. Other prominent industries include: ADM , Federal Mogul, the National Cigar Company, Emerson Controls and General Seating.
